Privacy Policy
1. TechOne Chatbot Privacy Policy (the "Policy") applies only to the chatbot services controlled by TechOne LLC ("We" or “TechOne”) for service-related inquiries (the "Chatbot Services"). This Policy does not pertain to other information that is collected offline or to information that is posted or provided by third parties. BY USING THE CHATBOT SERVICES, YOU CONSENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS POLICY AND TO TECHONE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR THE PURPOSES STATED BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE CHATBOT SERVICES.
A. Information Collected
This Policy applies only to information collected via the Chatbot Services and does not apply to information collected by TechOne through any other means. We collect two (2) types of information through your use of the Chatbot Services: (1) Personally Identifiable Information; and (2) Non- Personally Identifiable Information.
(1) Personally Identifiable Information
"Personally Identifiable Information" is information that identifies you personally, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, or company name. TechOne collects and stores the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us. We may collect your personally identifiable information through the Chatbot Services: We may collect a client’s nickname in a specific messenger, userid in a specific messenger. For some messengers, the userid matches the phone number, so we will collect phone number as well. We also collect data about the time the user spends at the hotel (we store the departure date) and the room in which he stayed.
We may obtain information from other sources, including IT infrastructure of a hotel, and may combine it with information We receive from you.
(2) Non-Personally Identifiable Information
"Non-Personally Identifiable Information" can be technical information, or it can be information which you provide in dialogs with chatbot. Non-personally identifiable information does not identify you personally. We use the information We collect from dialogs only for technical issues to improve quality chatbot knowledge base. We do not use it for marketing or ads purposes. If you do not want TechOne to have access to this information, please do not use the Chatbot.
B. Use of Information Collected Via the Chatbot
(1) Personally Identifiable Information
We use your personally identifiable information that is collected via the Chatbot primarily for the following purposes: To deliver services; To alert you to updated; To ensure the Chatbot are relevant to your needs; To help us create and publish content most relevant to you; To notify you about a material change to this Policy or the Terms of Use Agreement, if necessary.
(2) Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Non-personally identifiable information is used as described above and in other ways as permitted by applicable laws, including combining non-personally identifiable information with personally identifiable information.
C. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
(1) Personally Identifiable Information
We may share or disclose your personally identifiable information in the following instances: To fulfill a service to you. For example, if you forget something in the hotel, hotel staff could message you via ChatBot. Your personal information, like yours staying dates and userid in a specific messenger could be used by hotel to send you a promotional message.
Now, personal data is not transferred to third-party organizations and individuals. However, employees in accordance with their official duties of the hotel may have access to your personal data. However, it should be remembered that a large amount of your data is stored in the hotel's own database
(2) Non-Personally Identifiable Information
We use non-personally identifiable information collected via the Chatbot in the manner disclosed above, in the Section A (2). We may share this non-personal information with third parties.
D. International Transfer of Information
If you choose to provide us with personally identifiable information, TechOne may transfer that information to third parties, across borders, and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. By providing your personally identifiable information you consent to: (i) the use of your personally identifiable information for the uses identified above in accordance with this Policy; and (ii) the transfer of your personally identifiable information.
E. Third Party Web Sites
This statement applies solely to information collected via the Chatbot. The Chatbot may contain links to other web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. End users may be required to provide personally identifiable information directly to a third party, and any information so disclosed to such third party shall be governed by such third party’s privacy policy.
D. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to change this Policy from time to time in our sole discretion and change or discontinue the Chatbot Services at any time without prior notice to you.
E. Security
No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you understand that any information that you transfer to TechOne is done at your own risk. Once, we receive your transmission, we make reasonable efforts to ensure security on our systems. We use firewalls to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. If We learn of security systems breach We may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Chatbot or providing personally identifiable information to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of the Chatbot. We may post a notice through the Chatbot if a security breach occurs.
F. Governing Law / Venue / Forum
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of UAE All disputes, controversies and disagreements between the parties arising out of or related to this Policy shall be exclusively by courts in Dubai .
